Before setting up a business of his own, Geoffrey Beene had worked for years for many different designers and in Paris. Finally, in 1962, he set up his own business and sold garments. Fast forward to 1976, George Beene came up with his first men's fragrance. His cologne resonated with the garments he created. His fashion had already become popular in the world and hence, people were curious to see what his perfumes smelled like. Just like it was expected, the fragrance did not disappoint anyone. It was on the less pricy side than his clothes and hence, even those who could not buy his fashion items could get their hands on his perfumes. It was a way through which men could get that stylish and trendy look going without having to invest a large sum of money in their garments. It smelled just like a man in George Beene garments would like to smell.
